The TUUT Charitable Trust were pleased to support the work of Chesterfield Foodbank in July with a donation of £1,000.
Since the end of April Chesterfield foodbank has increased its deliveries, helping it to reach areas where people are very much isolated. This has worked well, serving those in financial difficulty who were also self isolating.
The Chesterfield foodbank looks forward to inviting its recent lockdown clients back into their centres for tea and biscuits and a supportive chat. This side of their work is very important giving emotional support and signposting to other organisations that can help them improve their situation
This donation was one of five foodbanks signposted to us for help by the Yorkshire Region of the GMB.
