Global Outlook October – ESG edition

 This edition of ASI’s Global Outlook is entirely devoted to the environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects of investment. These issues are increasingly, and correctly, front of mind. This is demonstrated by the many global climate protests around the world in recent weeks, by the efforts which many companies are taking to improve their own ESG credentials, and also the wave of investment opportunities in ‘green’ areas which are now being offered. Brexit probabilities update

Since ASI’s last Brexit update, the anti-No Deal coalition passed legislation through parliament to force Boris Johnson to request an Article 50 extension if the government has not passed a Withdrawal Agreement (WA) by October 19.
