Francis O’Grady, the new General Secretary of the TUC joined Marion Colverd and Stephanie Ellis on the TU Fund Managers stand at Community the union’s conference in Jersey, where she was updated on the recent activities of our charity.  She was also  reminded to use her ISA investment allowance and consider investing in a Trade Union ISA. Fabian Society Gala Dinner – July 9th 2013

TUFM was delighted to sponsor the Fabian Society’s annual Gala Dinner in the National Liberal Club at the Royal Horseguards Hotel, London on July 9th. With a Parliamentarian hosting every single table and Harriet Harman MP as guest speaker, the evening was certainly a memorable occasion. Musicians’ Union celebrates 120th Anniversary

The Musicians’ Union celebrated 120 years at its 35th Delegates Conference in Manchester on 23rd and 24th July. Over 100 members and invited guests joined with the MU’s Executive Committee and speakers from industry, education and Parliament at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, just a stone’s throw from where the Union was first established in 1893. The occasion was marked as 200 guests attended a reception at the Midland and were entertained by acts including the Parliamentary band, MP4.
