No one in our community should have to go hungry

The TUUT Charitable Trust in association with Usdaw were pleased to offer a donation of £5,000 to support the work of the Foodbank. The North Liverpool Foodbank provides 3 days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them as being ‘In Crisis’. With 11 distribution centres and having fed over 7,000 people in 2017, they strongly believe that no one in their community should have to face going hungry. Celebrating 150 years of the TUC

The TUUT Charitable Trust donated £10,000 to the Mechanics Centre Trust in Manchester (home of the first TUC meeting) towards the creation of Banner Theatre’s production ‘Spirit of 1868’, and for the creation of educational support material for use in schools to celebrate 150 years of the TUC. The Spirit of 1868 production can be seen in the following towns during 2018:- Manchester, March, Norwich, Merthyr Tydfil, Belper, Huddersfield, Deeside and Coventry.
