Together We Learn exists to help disadvantaged young people gain equal access to quality education in Ethiopia. They believe in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty by enabling children to learn, grow and access opportunities. The TUUT Charitable Trust were asked to support an expansion in their Early Years Literacy programme, training primary school teachers in the use of phonetics to teach English. Pupils spending time in the mobile prison cell The No Way Trust was set up in 1993 by three prison officers worried about the number of young people being sent to prison. Staffed by a mixture of retired Prison staff, and voluntary serving Prison Officers supported by a Youth Advisory Group and ex-prisoners all working together for a common goal – to stop young people from getting involved in crime.
